Now under the ownership of Max Perry and Conor Flaherty (the team behind Sam’s Anchor Café), the Silver Peso is entering a new chapter while staying true to everything locals have always loved about it: strong drinks, zero pretension, and good people.The Peso is still the kind of place where you can settle in for a shot and a beer, sip a perfectly made Manhattan or margarita, catch the game, rack up a game of pool, and lose track of time with friends old and new.
The refreshed space features upgraded TVs, improved interiors, and a renewed focus on sports and games, while keeping all the essentials intact: pool tables, shuffleboard, pinball, and the easygoing neighborhood energy locals have loved for generations. Inside, the legendary piano — rumored to have once been played by Janis Joplin — still anchors the room beneath the iconic open-beamed ceilings that define the space.
Most importantly, the authentic spirit that made the Peso a Marin institution hasn’t changed a bit.
